Maria J Villegas, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2024 at the age of 92. Born on September 23, 1932, in Yacopi, Colombia, Maria brought joy and love to all who knew her.

A devoted mother, Maria raised her children, Angela Bello, Adriana Casady, Carlos D'Achiardi, and Alvaro D’Achiardi with unwavering love and support. She instilled in them the importance of family and the enduring value of kindness. Maria's greatest accomplishment was creating a loving and nurturing home for her family.

Known for her hospitality, Maria always ensured there was room for one more at the table. Her home was a place of warmth and welcome, where friends and family gathered to celebrate life's special moments.

Maria had a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and found solace in tending to her flowers. She also cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sharing stories, laughter, and creating lasting memories.

Maria will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering family bonds will continue to inspire those who knew her.

A Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM, October 2, 2024 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 12800 West 75th Street, Shawnee, KS.  Burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
