Lyle Boyd Osborn, 90, of Plymouth, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026.  Visitation will be 9:30-11:00 AM followed by the Funeral Services at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 24,  at Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa,  KS.  

Lyle was born January 29th, 1936, he grew up in a tiny town outside of Garnett, KS. He helped on the family farm until he enlisted in the Air Force in 1955. Married to Cynthia Jane Werner in Kincaid, KS on September 30, 1962 until her passing in August of 1989. He was a man of many words, never met a stranger. He loved to dance and play cards with his friends and family. He worked as a salesman for Townley Hardware for several years. He then worked as a traveling salesman for National Manufacturing for over 40 years. He was always a hard worker and did not like to ask for help. He is survived by his children Troy (Stacey) and Todd (David Shepherd), his grandson Parker and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia, mother Florence Henderson Osborn, father Smith Osborn, sisters Lucille Louk, Arlene Patton, Wilma Cushing.
