Jul 04, 1936---Mar 30, 2026

Lowell Maurice Foster, 89, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 30, 2026.

Lowell was born on July 4, 1936, in Hardin, Missouri, to Jewell Thomas Foster and Valeda Foster. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, an experience that reflected his sense of duty and commitment throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Norma Jean; and his brothers, Larry and Jewell Dean Foster.

Lowell leaves behind his loving wife, Wanda Foster; and his brothers, Bobby, Thommy, and Dennis Foster. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his life, service, and the relationships he cherished.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor and a ready joke, his love of art and the pictures he made, how he loved the countryside and the deer’s and other wildlife.  He was a man who loved his wife and always wanted to be a help to her even after more than 30 years together.  He was a busy man whether it involved his work as a book salesman to the various universities or just looking for something to do.  He is a man who loved the Lord and will be greatly missed.
