With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Lisa Marie Martinez, 52, who was called home to the Lord on March 5, 2025. Lisa, born on July 6, 1972, grew up in Olathe, Kansas, graduating from Olathe South High School before dedicating her career to serving others as a security guard.

She made her home in Gardner, Kansas, and was passionate about history and reading. She was most joyful when spending time with her beloved niece, Emma, with whom she shared a special bond.

Lisa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Adolph and Emma Garcia and Jovita Martinez, and her aunts, Mary Lou and Rita. She is lovingly survived by her parents, Joe and Josie Martinez, her brother Tony (Liz), and her nieces Emma, Anna (Carson), Abby, Elyssia, nephew AJ, and long-time friend Beth. She also leaves numerous cousins and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory.

Lisa's services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia St, Lenexa, Kansas 66215. Her family invites all who knew and loved her to join in celebrating her life and sharing in prayers for her peaceful rest.

May Lisa be welcomed into God's eternal embrace, reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her.
