Geri was multifaceted when it came to her career. She worked several jobs before she and her husband became franchisees of KFC and Baskin-Robbins in Junction City, but being a realtor was her favorite. She retired to be a grandmother.

Prayers for the Majerus family during this time of great loss, your family will always have a special place in our hearts. When our family worked for the Majerus family we were always shown kindness by Geri, she was always passionate about things and people that brought her happiness…I will always remember her saying “if you have time to lean, you have time to clean”. She was dedicated to her family and the family businesses that her and John had together. Geri will be sorely missed. Stacy, Jeff, Jerry and Austin Jordan

Dear John and family please know that all the monks are praying for the repose of the soul for Geri and for your family! Geri was one of the sweetest ladies I know! "In paradisum deducant te angeli; in tuo adventu suscipiant te martyres, et perducant te in civitatem sanctam Jerusalem. Chorus angelorum te suscipiat, et cum Lazaro quondam paupere æternam habeas requiem." "May the angels lead you into paradise; may the martyrs receive you at your arrival and lead you to the holy city Jerusalem. May choirs of angels receive you and with Lazarus, who once a poor man, may you have eternal rest."

Our condolences to John, the Girls and the rest of the Family. We became good friends, with the Majerus’ when living In Atchison. We kept in loose touch over time. About two years ago, we picked up and spent times together, just like fifty years ago. She was a remarkable woman, who, just got better with age. RIP, Gere! Patti &’Terry Hanson Eureka, Mo
