Nov 08, 1932---Apr 18, 2025

George S Ranallo, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully, at the age of 92, on April 18th, 2025, surrounded by his family.

George was born on November 8th, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri to George and Gertrude Ranallo. He was raised alongside his two sisters, Jackie and Betty Lou. He was a Tri-sport athlete in basketball, football and baseball at St. James School. George was one of five in all of Kansas City to be named to the all-star team in Basketball.

He was deployed and served in the United States Army in the Korean Conflict. After returning home, he met the love of his life and they married on October 27th, 1956 and were married for the next 68 years.

Together they raised three children: Greg (Lori), Jan (Fred), and David (Lori), who were the pride and joy of his blessed life. George served as Vice President of Offset Operations for Vile-Goller/Fine Arts Printing and retired in 1997.

For four decades, he pursued his love of basketball by serving as a Head coach for not only his children but grandchildren as well.

He was a devoted grandfather to four grandchildren (Jessica, Anthony, Lauren and David) and a cherished great-grandfather to ten great-grandchildren.

George’s greatest joy was being with his beloved Angie and their family. After a short three months, they are finally together again.

A private service will be held for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Catholic Charities.
