Family friend ,Kansas city ,Kansas

What can I say about Evelyn? A close friend with a beautiful spirit that I will miss dearly. Me and Evelyn would sit and talk about anything and everything from sports to dinner ideas even my love life. One of my grandmother's passed before I was born the other when I was a freshman in high-school since meeting Evelyn I feel as if she filled the void of not having one. 2 days out of the week I would go help Evelyn with things she needed done around the house and even personal care but now I look back on things she helped me more than I helped her. She made me feel loved. She never let me leave her home without telling me she loved be safe and not to have too much fun. Me and my daughter Averi will cherish the visits and memories we made with Evelyn in the years to come such a sweet loving and caring person definitely one of a kind. We love you Evelyn

Friend and neighbor ,Overland Park ,Kansas

We were very fortunate to have Evelyn for a nextdoor neighbor for many years. She was always friendly and welcoming every time I had the pleasure of visiting with her. I’ll definitely miss her smile and wave when I would see her outside her house or passing by in her car. Her kindness carried over to her daughters - Lori and Lynn - for their selfless care and love to their mom and to others.
