Dana Sue Fountaine, 76, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Visitation will be Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 9:30 am, followed by a memorial service at 10:30 am at Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, Kansas. A private burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dana was born on December 7, 1948, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She grew up in Red Bridge in Kansas City and graduated from Center High School in 1967. She earned her bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1971.
Dana was quiet, kind, and loving. She adored her cats, loved watching Britbox, listening to Celine Dion, her Keurig coffee, french vanilla Yankee Candles, and was a devout fan of the Royals and Chiefs.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Lorraine Kinnamon; her father, Donald Richard Lambeth; beloved grandmother, Isla Lambeth; and grandfather, Ora Lambeth. She is survived by her life partner, John Langenberg; her children, Matthew Fountaine of Ft. Worth, Texas and Brian Buford of Atlanta, Georgia; three grandchildren; and her sisters, Lynn Durlin and Anne Emery.
