Charlie will greatly be missed by our whole family. What we love the most is that when we think about memories with Charlie you can't help but smile because he always had a joke or a funny story! The kids thought the world of him and will miss his "nerd" gifts! No words can heal this heart ache but sending love and prayers to LuEllen and the family! Charlie is loved very much!

I was so blessed to have such a kind, and caring brother. His family was his priority. He was so funny and could just light up a room with his humor! I will always be so grateful for all the memories of birthdays and family holidays that Charlie made so special! You will be so missed Charlie!

I was absolutely heartbroken to read this. I have such wonderful memories of him. He never missed an opportunity to give me a good- natured hard time or share a laugh. We had ongoing jokes about decorating for Colombus Day and his "fancy jeans". He had the best impish little giggle. He always made me smile, even still as I write this. To LuEllen, John, and especially Renee, I'm so so sorry for your loss. Try your best to wrap yourself in the warmth of all your memories but remember there's no "right" way to grieve. Feel what you feel for as long as you feel it. What a light he was in the world and I am thankful and lucky you shared him with me just a little bit, for a short time. I've gone on for too long. I can feel him telling me to "wrap it up already, kiddi!" I am holding you all in my thoughts and heart as you say goodbye to a dear, dear men.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Charlie was such a wonderful person—always smiling, always laughing, and always so kind to my family. I’m grateful that we had the chance to know him, even if only for a short time. Both Charlie and Lu Ellen have been such a blessing to us, in ways words can hardly express.
