Charles M. "Chuck" Sutryk, Jr., 69, of Edwardsville, Kansas, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Advent Lenexa City Center. The visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. with the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 6th at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS. Chuck was born October 3, 1956, in Bath, New York, the son of Charles and Genevieve (Mastalski) Sutryk. Chuck had spent most of his life in the Kansas City area and was a 1974 graduate of Olathe High School. He was a Catholic and an Army Veteran. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Pamela Duensing. He is survived by his brother Robert "Bob" Sutryk, brother-in-law Henry Duensing, nieces: Amber Duensing–partner Isaac Finch; Renae Duensing, Danielle Duensing–partner DeAndre Williams; great nieces: Azjion Duensing–partner Javier Damien, Isaas Finch–partner Jason Allen, Alina Finch, Ivee Finch, Daelyn Duensing, Rylin Duensing; and great-great nephew Leland Damien.
