Charles Joseph Fehr, 53, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away on May 29, 2026, at The University of Kansas Health System Olathe Campus. Visitation will be held from 3:00–4:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, at Foundry Church, 8835 Lackman Rd., Lenexa, KS 66219. A reception for family and friends will follow the service.
Chuck was born on February 22, 1973, in Shawnee, Kansas, to Charles R. and Mary Fehr. He was raised in Lenexa, Kansas, alongside his brother, Scott. He graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest in 1991 where he played both basketball and football. He attended Kansas State University from 1991 to 1996.
Chuck met the love of his life, Stacey, in 2001. After dating for just six months, they became engaged. They were married on May 31, 2003, with a reception held in his parents’ backyard. Chuck worked in staffing in Kansas City at Kforce Inc. until 2013 before joining Weatherby Healthcare in Raleigh, North Carolina—a career he truly loved and excelled in. The move also allowed Stacey to be closer to her family, something that meant so much to both of them.
Chuck loved spending time with family and friends even more than he loved playing golf. His larger-than-life personality and contagious laugh helped him build community wherever he went. One of the roles he treasured most was being the very best “fun uncle” to his niece and nephews, as well as to many of his friends’ children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. and Mary Fehr.
Chuck is survived by his wife of nearly 23 years, Stacey Lynch Fehr; his brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Amanda Fehr; their children, Emma, Henry, and Hudson; his godson, Owen Hedgepeth of Bowie, MD; his uncles and aunts, Thomas and Keena Fehr and Richard and Diane Ewing; his cousins and their spouses, Patrick and Kendell Quade and Richard and Beth Allbee; along with many additional family members and dear friends.
