Caspian Wilder Vaughan, 3, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 10, 2024, after a brief illness.
Caspian was born on October 28, 2021, in Overland Park, Kansas, to Jordan and Amy Vaughan. The youngest of their four children, Caspian brought joy and smiles to everyone around him and had what was described by his family as “the best laugh.” He enjoyed music, playing guitar and drums, running, and playing soccer and basketball with his siblings and friends.
Sweet Caspian loved cars, playing with monster trucks, watching Kansas City Chiefs and Sporting Kansas City games, and curling up to snuggle and read books. A vibrant little boy always ready to laugh and play, Caspian loved his family and was genuinely happy all the time.
In addition to his parents, Caspian is survived by his sister, Skylar, and brothers, Jason and Ronan. Caspian was the perfect son and his family is so thankful for the time they got to have with him. They will never forget him, but they await the day when they will see him with Jesus.
A celebration of Caspian’s life will be held on Saturday, November 23, at Bellicose Church, 5100 Ararat Drive, Kansas City, Missouri. Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with visitation and refreshments following services. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Vaughans and their children at https://bellicosechurch.churchcenter.com/giving/to/vaughan.
