Betty JoAnne Falgren, 95, of Kansas City, Kansas  passed away June 18, 2025.  She was born April 13, 1930 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Clarence and Eleanor (Mengel) Hendershott.  She was married to Harry L. Falgren, a loving marriage of 47 years, who preceded her in death in 1999.

A visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Porter Funeral Home, Kansas City, Kansas.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Municipal (Inman North) Cemetery in Inman, Kansas.

Betty graduated nursing school and got her Kansas State Board of Nurse Registration and Nursing Education the first day of October 1952.  She was active with Job’s Daughters for many years.

Survivors include son, David (Liezel) Falgren of Kansas City, KS; daughter, Sue Griffith of Tonganoxie, KS; grandchildren, Jennifer (Dustyn) Bebermyer of Kansas City, KS, Amber (Danny) Segura of Basehor, KS, Caleb (Erica) Griffith of Dodge City, KS, Seth (AuRyon) Griffith of Topeka, KS, Jerald Ronato of Kansas City, KS, Sophia Ronato of Kansas City, KS, Schatzi Soriano of Kansas City, KS.  She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Zoe Falgren of Basehor, KS, Avery Griffith of Dodge City, KS, Quinn Griffith of Dodge City, KS and Aislynn Griffith of Topeka, KS.

She was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Ronald Herdershott and her parents.
