I hadn’t been in touch with Barry since college. I do remember what a great guy he was and was more than a little envious of how good looking he was!! Drove a great car back then too! Rest in peace, Barry.

Friend and Law Partner ,Shawnee ,Kansas

Barry was an excellent attorney who taught me a great deal as a young lawyer. His attention to detail was second to none. Over the years I came to know him well during our recruiting trips together for Wallace Saunders. This formed the basis for our friendship of 39 years. My thoughts and prayers go out to Susan who was an amazing wife and partner and to Lindsey and Aaron who he loved dearly. Rest in peace my friend.

Friend ,Lenexa ,Kansas

I met Barry in 1969 when I entered Washburn. Barry “rushed” me and we became friends. Over the years, I was on the opposite side of several cases with Barry. He was always a worthy advocate for his client but always a gentleman, honest and above reproach. I held Barry in high esteem. He will be missed and well remembered.

Law Partner ,Spring Hill ,Kansas

I was very fortunate to meet Barry when he joined Wallace Saunders as another young associate, progressed in skills and ability, became one of my Partners and a highly respected attorney in Kansas City. He was funny, thoughtful, always helpful, and someone you could count on. There isn't really more to add because that defined him. He will be missed by all that knew him, but happily we did, and grateful for it.

Colleague, law partner, friend ,Springfield ,Missouri

Barry was the hiring partner who hired me to open the Springfield office of Wallace Saunders in 1994. We became good friends and played more than a few rounds of golf in Kansas City, Springfield, Lake of the Ozarks, and Las Vegas. A great lawyer, friend, colleague, who will be missed. Condolences to Susan who took great care of him, and the rest of the family. Rest easy, my friend.
