Andrew “Andy” Paul Dvorsky, 55, passed away Saturday, May 27th, 2023. Andy was born the youngest of three boys to Gerard and Nancy Brown Dvorsky in Kansas City, Missouri on May 8th, 1968.
Andy was a beloved father, uncle, friend, and mentor. He grew up in Overland Park with fond memories of his older brothers and a neighborhood full of friends. He graduated from high school in 1986 and took a position where he eventually learned his lifelong trade. Andy became a well renowned field service technician for Kluge machines.
There was nothing Andy could not do, figure out, or fix. If you needed Andy, he was there no matter what, no matter when, no questions asked. Andy was the best father and uncle. If you needed your oil changed or brakes replaced, it was done. If you needed a flight, he got you one. If you moved across the country, he was going too. In true dad fashion, you were guaranteed unsolicited advice, sound or not.
Andy never met a stranger. Whether you knew him for a month or 50 years, you could call him a friend. We were all so fortunate to have lived on Andy’s time.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his daughter, Carley Dvorsky, his sons George Andrew Dvorsky (Drew) and Brooks William Dvorsky (Will), his former wife, Suzanne Dvorsky, his brothers Garret Dvorsky (Cindy) and Christopher Dvorsky, and many nieces and nephews.
