It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Abha—cherished wife, mother, grandmother. 

Abha's presence was a gentle light that warmed every soul she touched. To know her was to experience love in its purest form.

She brought beauty into this world not just in her elegant presence, but through the love and kindness she gave so freely.

Abha is survived by her devoted husband Lok Sharma, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership. She lives on in her daughter Vineeta and son-in-law Sean, her son Vipin and daughter-in-law Rachna, and her beloved grandchildren - Rishi, Shivani, and Suvali.

We will remember Abha with the joy of having known someone so truly beautiful. She was, and always will be, our brightest sunshine.

Rest peacefully, sweet Abha. You are deeply loved and eternally missed.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 17, 2025, starting at 1:30 PM at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia St., Lenexa, KS.

OM SHANTI Mamiji was truly one of a kind—a quiet force of warmth, grace, and strength. Her presence was like a soft, steady light—never seeking attention, yet always lighting up the space around her. I will forever be grateful for the love and stability she brought into Archu’s life. She stood by her unwaveringly, celebrating every milestone with a full heart and quiet pride. Her love and support , especially for Adi and Khushi, was constant and deeply felt. The world is definitely a little less bright! Will miss her gentle laughter, the way she listened with such care, and she always made space for others, no matter what. Sending all my love and strength to all of you. She will never be forgotten—her memory and love will live on in all of us.

I feel like I’ve lost a beloved sister and still cannot fathom that I will never see her again or hear her voice. Abha was truly a gentle soul. I remember the dance classes where the girls just waited for the class to be over so they could get her delicious zucchini bread. She and Lok made beautiful music. Be at peace wherever you are my friend.
