It is with sorrowful hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved child, Giuliani Calderon, who was taken from us too soon on February 27, 2025, at the tender age of 12.
Giuliani brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with his kind heart, radiant smile, and boundless curiosity. Though his time with us was brief, the love, laughter, and happiness he shared will forever remain in our hearts.
Giuliani is survived by his mother, Mercedes Ontiveros; sisters, Anayeli and Giuliana; His paternal grandparents, Alfredo & Leticia Calderon. Maternal grandparents, Angelica & Leopoldo Talamantes and Zachery and Marie Ontiveros, great-grandparents, David & Celesta Baska and Patsy & Calixto Elizondo, great-great-grandmother, Maxine Chilson. Aunts and uncles, Mireyah Rodriguez, Mareli Rodriguez, Yusmayra Calderon, Irma Calderon, Zachery Ontiveros Jr., Nick Ontiveros, Christian Rodríguez, and Flor Talamantes along with and abundance of cousins and extended family who cherished him dearly.
He joins his father, Alfredo Calderon, in eternal rest. Giuliani will forever be remembered as a bright light in our lives—full of energy, love, and a playful spiit.
Giuliani shared a special bond with every family member, each relationship unique and irreplaceable. If he wasn’t stuck like chicle (gum) to his abuelos, spending endless hours in their loving home, he was making unforgettable memories filled with laughter, love, and adventures with his aunts, uncles, and other members of the family. With his younger cousins, hugging them tight and saying, “You’re just too little.” Above all, Giuliani was a devoted big brother—his sisters’ protector, leader, playmate, and best friend. The teasing and laughter will be deeply missed, but the love they shared will never fade away.
Known affectionately as The Rizzler, Giuliani’s charisma, infectious smile, and boundless energy could brighten any room. He had a passion for football, and his love for the game was unmatched. A proud Las Vegas Raiders fan, he cheered for his team with excitement and dedication. He played for NSYFL football and played soccer for United Legacy FC giving his all on the field, a place where he felt most at home.
Beyond sports, Giuliani found joy in fishing, summer lake trips, road trips with his family, and always eager to explore new places with his mom and sisters. He had a deep love for nature, often acting as an “animal whisperer,” fascinated by lizards, snakes, and all creatures big and small especially when it came to being a leader of his flock of gallos.
Giuliani’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, as well as those he touched from afar. His love was fierce, his presence unforgettable, and his memory will forever be cherished.
“G” You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Forever Young.
