My sincere sympathy to Dan's family. I volunteered for the Lenexa Cemetery Association for 15 years. I always recommended Bluhm Monuments to families. I could always count on Dan. Bluhm monuments are a beautiful lasting tribute. They were always securely installed with expert care. Dan will be sincerely missed. May he rest in peace. Joan Jones

So sorry to hear of Dan's passing. He was such a wonderful person. He was so kind and considerate and caring. Through the years, each time I would call or stop by the shop he recognized me right away, asked about my folks and my family. He was always eager to help in anyway he can. The KCK area has lost a true native son.

I was shocked and saddened to see the passing of Dan Bluhm in the paper today. My sympathies and prayers to the entire Bluhm family. Until recently, I was President of Pleasant Valley Cemetery. That position was thrust upon me unexpectedly upon the sudden passing of the prior President, Jim Sanford. I had next to no experience in running a volunteer owned and operated cemetery. Dan was always there as a reliable source of information, assistance and comfort during those very difficult first few years. Without Dan's assistance, I, nor the cemetery, would probably have survived this experience. Thanks Dan, he will be missed.
