Josephine M. Ogan, 89, of Mission, KS, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at Trustwell Living at Mission Springs. The visitation will be from 9:15-10:30 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 20 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Sisters Servants of Mary or Bishop Ward High School.

Josephine was born October 6, 1933, in Kansas City, KS and was a lifetime area resident. Josephine met Ed Ogan and they were married in 1955. The Ogan family was blessed with 3 children growing up in Blessed Sacrament Parish in Kansas City, KS before moving to the Cathedral of St. Peter Parish in the 70's. Josephine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother attending and cheering them all on at their sporting events and activities. She was currently a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Josephine was preceded in death by her husband Ed in 2004. Josephine is survived by 3 children and their spouses, Mike and Kim Ogan, Carmel and Marc Edwards, Duke and Belinda Ogan, her grandchildren, step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Duke and the whole Ogan family, Your Mom was the sweetest lady and a joy to be around when we were just grade school kids. When I would come over to play she always always made me eat something and drink a large drink even if I said “no thanks.” A true angel. God bless her and keep her. Matt
