I'm at a loss for words as I know nothing can be said to soften the pain you are all experiencing. I pray for peace and comfort as you lay her to rest. Her genuine smile, perky personality, and joyful spirit will live on forever. She was always so much fun to be around, and will be missed by so many. This is not Good-Bye Val, but instead, I'll look forward to the day we meet again. May you rest in Heavenly Peace!

To Josh and family, John and I met Val at Perkins. We are weekly customers and we so enjoyed visiting with her. She had a great wit and humor and we always left with smiles on our faces. We were fortunate to learn about her family and she shared stories about you all with us. When I (Dee Ann) was going through a hard time, she shared her condolences and hugs with me. Walking into Perkins will never be the same. We miss her so much. Love and blessings to you all.

Although we fell out of touch the last several years, I always knew if I needed her, Val would’ve been there in a heartbeat. She had a heart of gold and was one of the most honest, genuine, and loyal people I’ve ever met. She was one of a kind and she’ll always be my sister from another mister. Josh, you and the kids are in my thoughts and prayers 💜
