Marie L. Curry, 67, of Shawnee, KS, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022.  Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 PM followed by a visitation until 7:00 PM Thursday, June 23rd at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia Street, Lenexa, KS.  Funeral Mass will be 9:00 AM Friday, June 24, at St. Rose Philippine Duchesne Catholic Church, 5035 Rainbow Blvd., Mission Woods, KS 66205.  Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.

     Marie was born September 7, 1954, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Harold and Mary (O'Grady) Plunkett.  Her greatest joy in life was raising her family, but she had also been a computer programmer at Western Electric and AT&T.  She was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and current member of St. Rose Philippine Duchesne Catholic Church.  She is survived by her husband of 39 years and best friend of 42 years Greg L. Curry, four children Matthew and his wife Emily, Steven, Nicholas, Jason, five grandchildren that she adored: William, James, Alice, Walter, Cecily; siblings: Joe and his wife Margie, Gene, Mike, Dan, Mary and her husband Matt Winston, Cathy and her husband Richard Ellis, Patrick and his wife MJ, and many extended family and friends.
