Bob was born August 17, 1958, in Kansas City, Kansas. He leaves behind his wife of 44 years Sheila K. Roush of the home. His beloved children, Christina M. Roush Overland Park, KS, Robert J. Roush (Amanda) Shawnee, KS, Andrew T. Roush (Griselda) Kansas City, KS. Grandchildren Alison M. Roush, Emma K. Roush, Angel Lopez, Jonathan Lopez, and Ayanna Lopez.  His brothers David and Mark Roush. His sisters Diane Fagen, Lisa Roush, and Debbie Lane along with several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Stepdad Charles T. Lane, Mother Linda I. Lane, and Brother Michael P. Roush.

For over 20 years, he worked hard as a maintenance engineer for various property management companies doing what he loved, fixing things, and providing for his family, until he was injured on the job in 1999. For the next 22 years, he suffered with those injuries but, never let that stop him from being the best man he could be for his family and friends. For his past time, he loved to go fishing, hunting, and shooting and would do so, as often as he could.

His family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, love, and support. Without it we would not have made it as far as we did. “He fought hard!”

He is truly loved and will be missed by family and friends.

I had occasion to know Bob for a relatively short time, but I can say he was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. Just a supremely kind and thoughtful man. Prayers for his family and friends.

Baby sister ,Orange ,California

Being the baby sister , my big brother looked out for me more like I was his child instead of his baby sis . I miss him soooooooo soooo much. I'm so grateful I spent a great deal of time with him this last year . It's really hard and I hate it but I'm also glad he's no longer in pain or suffering. "It's not goodbye , it's see ya when I get there " big brother. I love you and miss you eternal ????
