On behalf of the KCKCC Wellness & Fitness Center we offer our sincere condolences to Jill and your family on the passing of Larry. We got to spend lots of early mornings getting to know Larry at the Wellness Center. He was a REAL person who was easy to talk to and like. We talked lots of NASCAR but lots about life. We never met his family but I knew them because he Truly expressed his love of his family. We have already been missing Larry’s presence at the Wellness Center and I want to thank Larry for always keeping us informed on how he was doing. I also want to thank Jill for calling to let us know of his passing. May he rest and peace. We also hope his memory lives on and brings Jill and the family peace.

Stunned to hear of Larry's passing. He was one of the wonderful band of Quartermasters who safely navigated our big ship on many trips. His quiet presence was always a stabilizing factor when things got tense. I mourn his passing since the world will deprived of his presence.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a great friend when we served together on board the ship. I remember him very well as a kid who worked with me especially during the stressful times in Vietnam. I know that he gave you many wonderful memories to hold on to. There no words express the grief that goes in one's heart. May the Lord give your family the strength and comfort during this time. A former shipmate and friend, Mike

Dear Jill and Family, I am so very, very sorry. I know that Larry, along with you and the family, fought everyday. I hope that comfort comes knowing that he is at rest and encircled in the love of those who have gone before him. And perhaps it is also some comfort to know that so many are thinking and praying for you and your family. Love to you, Janis

So very sorry for the families loss, may your memories help you through this difficult time. I met Larry through work some years ago and remember when he came in and told us about his diagnosis....he had an instant plan and I knew he was going to fight... Larry made an impression on everyone he met. He will be missed and his memories will live on... Rest well Larry, you deserve it 💜🙏
