 Robert C. Lippold, 92 of Leawood, Kansas passed away June 18, 2021.  He was born December 27, 1928 in Omaha, Nebraska.  He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years Norma and his infant son Jimmy. He is survived by his eight children Jill Clark, Sherry Watkins (Dan deceased), Terry (Denise), Dean, Bill (Julie), Pam Wheeler (Vince), Nancy Kellerman (Tim) and Bobby, fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lorena Lippold and sister Joanne Kellogg. Bob attended Bishop Hogan High School and went on to graduate from St. Benedict College in Atchison, Kansas.  He married Norma Savage on January 5, 1952 while stationed in Washington D.C. They moved back to Kansas City in 1953 where he began his first career alongside his father at the Kitty Clover Potato Chip Company. In 1980, he began a very successful  real estate career selling for Kroh Brothers which became J.D. Reece.  At 70 he retired and began volunteering for Catholic Charities.  In 2007, he was awarded volunteer of the year. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 9 to 10 am.  A funeral service will follow at Cure of Ars Catholic Church at 10 am, 9405 Mission Road, Leawood, KS 66206.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Catholic Charities of N.E. Kansas or Benedictine College.

If unable to attend, have a dish of BlueBell ice cream and a baby snickers in his memory.

I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was always so kind and always asked about our daughter that he helped tutor in Math years ago at Cure' when he volunteered. We would see Bob and Norma at First Watch and out and about. They were so in love. I know he is glad to be with her now. Jack Bolin is welcoming his old friend up in heaven.
