Aleen Venturella, 81, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Prairie Elder Care Morris House in Overland Park, KS. 

Aleen was born October 30,1939, in Enon, Arkansas and lived most of her life in Overland Park. She was married to Richard D. Venturella on June 7, 1958 at the First Christian Church in Baxter Springs, KS and he preceded her in death on October 16, 2005.  

Aleen is survived by 2 daughters, Vicki (husband Bill) Pelkey of Olathe and Brenda Haverty of Overland Park. 1 sister, Jeanie (husband Gary) Barnum of Mound City. 4 grandchildren Jack (wife Tara) Maier of Lenexa, Ryan Ellis (wife Amy Dunning) of Atlanta, GA.  Max Maier of KCMO, and Kaleigh (husband Philip) Crabtree of Fayetteville, AR. Plus, 5 great grandchildren. 

The family will hold a private service honoring Aleen's life on Sunday, and she will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS.
