Grew up in the neighborhood in KCK with Loarn, always a friend to us all. Even though we didn't stay close over the years, but a lot of good memories from the past. Rest in peace and God bless.

I have very fond memories of growing up on 14th Street with Loarn, playing in the alleys and on the school grounds, when the village was brimming with colorful characters. Loarn was a gentle soul whom I respected and liked very much. Godspeed, old friend.

This is to Louise and Rosemarie. This is Cathy Miller-Scherzer. I spoke to Loarn less than three weeks ago. He came over to the house and sat down with this to write our insurance. He was a good man and a good friend..... Patty and I are so very sorry we couldn’t attend his services. We were out of town last week. I hope your family is doing well we have fun memories of all of you. Yvonne, Henry, Robert, you and your parents. Patty and I will never forget the nun dolls we all received for Christmas. Your mother and father were really hard workers. Robert used to give me a ride on his motorcycle. Yvonne was always running up and down your steps getting ready to go to church with your mom. Thanks for the good memories.... we lost our mother two years ago. Finally we are the eldest generation in our family. Loarn will be missed! He was a kind man and always had a smile on his face and we were aways happy to see him. May God rest his soul and may he sleep with the Angels to we all awake!

I am SO sad to hear this. Just the Sunday before, my girlfriend and I were standing on the steps outside the back of church, and talking with Loarn and Susan. I first met Loarn about 7-10 years ago at the Singles dances, and one night during a DJ break, I sang along with an Elvis song, and Loarn loved it so much he wanted to be my Agent! Then after Loarn and Susan got married, they came to my church at Queen of the Holy Rosary, and told me after Mass how much they enjoyed it, and thought they wanted to join this church. They did, and many times we would meet downstairs after Mass, and sit together for pancakes, eggs, and coffee. I will always treasure my memories of Loarn and what a great guy he was. Susan, I am so sorry for your loss. May God Rest his Soul and may he be in Heaven with the Lord for Eternal Rest.
