Nancy C. Fox, 65, Overland Park, KS, passed away Monday May 24, 2021 at St. Joseph Medical Center. The visitation will be from 10:30-12 noon, Thursday, May 27 at Cure of Ars Catholic Church, 9405 Mission Rd., Leawood, KS with the Funeral Mass to follow at 12 Noon. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Cure of Ars St. John Vianney Fund at the Church.

Nancy was born February 12, 1956 in Kansas City, Ks the daughter of Joseph and Ann Marie (Orendac) Zager. Nancy was a 1974 graduate of Bishop Ward High School.  She was a dedicated cafeteria and custodial worker of the Arch Diocese for over 30 years.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Ann and Joseph. She is survived by 2 sons, Tyler Fox and his wife, Danielle Fox, Tanner Fox, her sister, JoAnn Kolich and her husband, Bob Kolich, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Tyler & Tanner, Please know I’m praying for you all during this time. Your mom’s heart was amazing and I was in awe of how she never gave up even when the struggles were intense. Tyler, I still have the little blue bird of happiness you gave me in a heart shaped container in 3rd grade. My granddaughter, Ava, often carries it around when she’s at my house. Tyler/Danielle, Tanner, Joann/Bob, I was shocked to learn of Nancy’s passing. She was the one woman who, in my opinion, had the BIGGEST heart ever! I loved working with her in the lunchroom and joking around with her, listening to her brag about her boys. Dan loved seeing her at the scorers table at basketball games when he reffed and getting to talk with her. She will be truly missed by so many. Our deepest sympathies to you all

To the entire family: I am so sorry to learn of Nancy's death. She was such a fun, friendly person who maintained a positive outlook on life despite her many challenges. Nancy and I often visited during the swim meets our children participated in many years ago. She was always there as the consummate mom, cheering on her two sons. I truly enjoyed reconnecting with her. I know Nancy battled Crohn's disease for many years and that her quality of life was diminished.
