former co-worker in Lincoln OMAHA , Nebraskac

Elizabeth, my sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of KI. I just found out today as Robby Robinson was kind enough to forward information. I was very fond of KI and had a high regard for him as a scientist, leader, husband and father. I remember talking with him about manufacturing and he told me one of his success traits was "when you identify a problem, shine a light on it, and do not remove the light (focus) until that problem is resolved". Seems to fit a lot of aspects of life. He was an exceptional man. Your former HR guy in the Lincoln plant...Deacon Dan Keller

Elizabeth and family, I am so sorry for your loss and I send you my deepest sympathy. KI's scientific mind was always working to solve problems. He was a great manager to me and he taught me so much in how to deal with people. He was always supportive and made me feel important. I remember our trip to Scotland where he "caddied" for me while I played a round of golf. His influence on my career, not only as a scientist, but as a friend, stays with me still. He will always be remembered.

DOUG WILSON July 09, 2018

Physics teacher of Mercy and Phil Lincoln , Nebraska

Dr. Elizabeth, Mercy and Phil--It is with sadness that I noticed the death of Dr. KI. He was such a devoted father and concerned for the well-being of his children. I remember meeting him at an East High open house shortly after the beginning of school and was so impressed by his pleasant demeanor and the interest he took in the content and direction of the course I taught. Cherish your many memories of his wonderful impacts on all who had the privilege of knowing him.--Doug Wilson (East High physics)
