Stan Arnold May 11, 2018

Worked for IBT 1984-2006 Grand Island , Nebraska

Worked with Steve's brother Dave in Lincoln, Ne. for several years. Never a dull moment when Steve came for a visit. Some sort of prank was played each and every time. Steve was always good for a laugh and a fun time.

Bruce Morrow May 11, 2018

IBT Outside Salesman Omaha , Nebraska

I remember Steve as a fun loving guy that enjoyed the business and the people he was around in it. When I started with IBT, Steve was in his later years working for the company. My earliest memories of Steve were the tailgates at the KC Chiefs games he and Ron Auperlee hosted together. They were quite the team and did a great job with the food and entertaining the customers I brought down to the games. You were always welcomed with a smile and an IBT story or two. May he rest in peace.

I was so sorry to hear about Steve passing. He was really a great guy. I worked with Steve a short time at IBT and learned not to turn my back on him or something would disappear . It was great when he would come by to say hi to everyone.

I was shocked to just learn of Steve's passing. I had the pleasure to first meet Steve at Coronado Junior High and was immediately taken in with his zany sense of humor and heart of Gold! I quickly learned he came by those traits honestly via his folks, Dorothy and Jack! I had not seen Steve since our 20th High School Reunion and was very much looking forward to seeing him next month at our 50th. R.I.P., Bailes!
