So very sorry to read of Ron's passing. A great guy and terrific athlete "in the day". Know he's been suffering for a long time. Condolences to his family.

Sadness knowing that Ronnie has left our world. Happiness knowing that he has eternity with the Lord. Remembering happy times at Ward, in particular, typing class. We were in the back row, right side, Ronnie was on my left at the center aisle and Rhea Lake was on my right. We had many things to chuckle about.

I can't tell you how sorry I am for missing Ron's obituary and service. Ron and I were both in the A's organization at the same time, and we both played basketball at Rockhurst College during the off season. I have some wonderful memories from our playing days. Ron was a terrific athlete and an exceptional baseball player. God bless him.

I played baseball with Ron starting in 1947 all thru our teen years including high school. I never saw him strike out and he hit line drives that were like lightning bolts. I never saw anyone except Stan Musial that hit a line drive like Ron did. He will be remembered as a cherished friend.
