Donna J. Robinson, 59, of Stilwell, KS, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Menorah Medical Center, Overland Park, KS after a brain aneurysm event at the home. Donna was born on April 1, 1958 in Kansas City, KS to Lawrence and Ruby Wittman. She attended Blessed Sacrament Elementary School, Bishop Ward High School, and Johnson County Community College. Donna’s career included working as an account sales representative for Covert Marine, Kansas City, KS, The Office Pavillion, Austin, TX, Scott Rice Furniture, Lenexa, KS, and Merck Pharmaceuticals, Lenexa, KS, and a homemaker. Donna’s zest for life was apparent in everything she did. She greeted everyone with an infectious warm smile and fun personality. She loved spending time with planting flowers, entertaining, husband’s band gigs, and especially their lake home at Lake of the Ozarks. Donna loved her Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier Scout. Donna's incredible strength, generosity and caring ways made her an inspiration to everyone who knew her. Donna gave the gift of life back through organ donation. She has an abundance of family, wonderful friends, neighbors, and relatives and will be greatly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence J. Wittman, and sister, Diane M. McKenzie. She is survived by her loving husband Chuck; mother Ruby Wittman of Shawnee, KS; sister Linda Wilson of Overland Park, KS; brothers Les and wife Pat Wittman of Austin, TX; David and wife Cindy Wittman of Kansas City, MO; nephew Clint Wilson of Shawnee KS; and Scott and wife Mindy Jack of Overland Park, KS.

The Celebration of her life begins with a visitation on Thursday, December 21nd, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Her memorial service will be held on Friday, December 22rd, at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be at the Porter Funeral Home located one block west of 85th & Quivira in Lenexa, KS. Burial will be at the Resurrection Cemetery in Lenexa, KS immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.

I had the good fortunate of meeting Chuck and Donna when they were most recently looking for a new home. I meet many new people in my line of work, and a handful each year touch my heart and become lifetime friends. Donna was one of those special people. Her zest for life and smile lit a room. I can still hear her laughter in my mind now. I'm so deeply saddened by your huge lose and feel privileged to have known such a bright, fun, caring soul.
