And he raised his head and looked upon the people, and there fell a stillness upon them. And with a great voice he said: When love beckons to you, follow him, though his ways are hard and steep. And when his wings enfold you, yield to him, though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you. And when he speaks to you, believe in him, though his voice may shatter your dreams as the north wind lays waste the garden. For even as love crowns you, so shall he crucify you. Love has no desire but to fulfill itself. But if you love, let these be your desires: To know the pain of too much tenderness. To be wounded by your own understanding of love: and to bleed willingly and joyfully. To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving. Rest in peace my sweet angel; you will never be forgotten.

I would like to offer my sincerest condolences during this difficult time, the loss of a loved one can be a painful experience. I hope you can find a measure of comfort in God's Word the Bible. For example, in Revelation 21:4 it mentions a time that is coming when death will be no more and in John 5:28,29 it says how all those in the memorial tomb will come out. So we will have the opportunity to see our loved ones again. For more information about this topic and much more please visit JW. org.

Lisa was my last boss at DEC working for the Alpha Application Performance Group. That was by far the best group of people I have ever worked with and the best boss. Lisa was really great to work with, very hands off but really pointed you in the right direction if needed. When the layoffs were coming down it was her job to finally kill the group. I remember it like it was yesterday one person after the next going into “the room” and leaving. When she got around to me it was tough to tell who was more upset Lisa or myself. What I really remember most is her absolute love of animals especially Guinea Pigs , she would go on and on about how many she had and if any of them was feeling a little down and who wasn’t up to its normal self. She will be missed  God Bless Lisa and her family

I have fond memories of working with Lisa on many projects in ESG in the 80s and early 90s. We travelled to several CMP/SCMP sites for various user group meetings. I recall several CAD/CAM/CAE strategy meetings with her. Rest in Peace Lisa

Anthony, I can't tell you how devastating Lisa's passing is for all who knew her. She was one-of-a-kind; there will never be another, nor should there be. I hope that she has finally found the peace she sought in life. Thoughts and prayers are with you now and always. With deepest sympathy, Sue

Lisa was one of my greatest friends. I had seen this beautiful woman in the halls of DIGITAL's Parker Street facility, but we first met when she became my boss in the Alpha Workstations Engineering group. Since she was a stranger to us, she shrewdly adopted Don Rice and me, thinking that, as the old guys, we'd be the thought leaders. Maybe not, but we were always happy to see her. With time, Lisa and I started mentoring each other. I'm pretty good at keeping confidences, so she felt comfortable sharing her problems, new and old. And, no, I'm not going to start blabbing now. After she left DEC, we'd meet for lunch occasionally, maybe once a month or so. That stretched out as we moved work and homes further apart, so we turned to email to keep in touch. Now, she's out of reach but will remain in my thoughts forever. I hope to honor her life by being a bit more compassionate, more forgiving, more likely to tell the people I love, "I love you." Now, not when it's too late. So ... Take care, and love to all, Kenny
