Waldemeer P. Kutteles, 85, Belton, MO. died Wednesday, December 6th, 2017 at Research Medical Center. Graveside services will be Tuesday, December 12th, 11:00am at Mount Moriah Cemetary, 10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City. Block 5. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to any charity in “Wally's” name, as he contributed to many.

Wally was born June 8th, 1932, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania where he grew up before moving to New York City. Wally proudly served in the Army as a PFL during the Korean war from 1952 to 1954. A long career as a technical writer / editor for the aerospace industry moved him to Texas where he met his beloved soul-mate Pat during the early 80's. Together they lived in Connecticut and Florida before settling down in the Kansas City area. Wally and Pat were members of the SLDN and were active in working for the repeal of the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy and were honored by President Obama upon it's repeal.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Peter and Loretta Kutteles, stepsons; Barry and Sean Winchell, brother; Donald Kutteles, and his wife Pat of 34 years. Wally is survived by his daughter Deborah “Krystal” Green, stepson; Ian Winchell, siblings; Kathy Nugent, Annette Roddy, Jerry and Albert Kutteles, and numerous nieces and nephews.
