Donald Mull Baldwin, of Lenexa, KS, died November 2, 2017. He celebrated his 95th birthday in May surrounded by his entire family. He was born May 7, 1922, in Pana, IL, to George Lee and Jeanette Mull Baldwin. He was educated in the Pana schools, Blackburn College, The University of Missouri, and graduated from Washington University, St. Louis, MO. He was an Eagle Scout. In World War II, he volunteered for the Army Air Corps and served overseas in the European-African theater flying from Italy with the Air Transport Command. He served in the Asiatic-Pacific theater with the Headquarters Squadron of the 13th Air Force, based in the Philippines. After graduation, he was employed with Shell Oil Co. and later for 30 years with A. E. Staley Manufacturing Co. He served as an Elder in the Presbyterian Church. He served as president of the Lost Bridge Village Community Association and on the L. B. V. Church Board. He was a board member of the Rogers Art Guild for several years. He enjoyed painting in oils after his retirement. He and Harriet loved to travel throughout the world. He married Harriet Lishen of Webster Groves, MO in 1946 and they were married for 65 years before she passed away in 2010. Survivors include daughter Diana Vick, Dallas, TX; son Dr. George Baldwin (Sara), Overland Park, KS; daughter Sally Anderson (Charles), Loch Lloyd, MO; grandchildren Corrie Kerlin (Eliot, Jr.), Elizabeth Kipp (Joshua) and Katherine Bibb (Justin), Dallas; Caroline Mermis (Corbett), Houston, TX; Julie Wolf (Brian), Leawood, KS; Dr. Anne Grant (Robert), Mission Hills, KS; Jennifer New (Brandon), Leavenworth, KS; Hunter Anderson, Loch Lloyd; and great-grandchildren Eliot III, Mercer, Davis and Louisa Kerlin, Caleb Kipp and Sophia Bibb, Dallas; Evelyn and Kate Mermis, Houston; Laura, Anna and Luke Wolf, Leawood; Charles, George and Andrew Grant, Mission Hills; James, Whitney and Grace New, Leavenworth.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at Lakeview Village, 9100 Park St, Lenexa, KS, on November 19 at 2:00 pm with a reception following. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Lakeview Village Chapel or Great Lakes Hospice, 8900 State Line Road, Leawood, KS 66206.
