Sara Lynn Stimac , Age: 40
January 02, 1977 -- November 04, 2017

Sara Lynn (Hagan) Stimac went to heaven November 4, 2017, following a 10 year battle with cancer. Sara was born January 2, 1977 to Marilyn (Perry) Rupp and Steven Hagan in Cherokee, Iowa. Sara lived in Cherokee, Iowa, most of her younger years. She attended Cherokee Community School District until her graduation in 1995. She attended and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1999 with a degree in psychology. After graduation from college, she and two of her closest friends moved to Kansas City. Sara worked for Brown Mackie College, NCM Associates, and recently with John Deere. Sara was a very devoted mother to her son, Gabe. Her whole life revolved around her son. Sara loved to read, travel, socialize, fish, camp, spend time with her family, and care for others. Left to cherish her memory are her mom and dad, Marilyn and Randy Rupp, Cherokee, Iowa; her sister and husband, Melissa and Brian Booton, Chicago, Illinois; her brother and his finance, Derek Rupp and Alondra Rodriguez of Peru, Illinois; her grandparents: Terry and LaRae Rupp of Cherokee, Iowa; and her aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. Her smile was her gift to all of us. She is predeceased by her daughter, Kaitlyn Grace Stimac; her father, Steve Hagan; her grandparents: Kathleen (Katie) Perry and Robert Perry, Wilma Hagan and Gene Hagan; and her uncle, Richard Hagan. I am truly sorry for the loss and pain that the Stimac, Hagan family and friends are feeling because of losing Sara recently in death, way too soon. Most of us have had to endure the sorrow of losing a loved one in death. What helped me the most was prayer and faith in God's promises like found here at 1 Corinthians 15: 26 and it tells us: "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25) For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. John 17:3 Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. my email address; myranj@centurytel.net I pray it will bring you comfort to please watch this short, faith strengthening video: "Can The Dead Really Live Again?" https://vimeo.com/232445509 You are in my prayers.
