Kenneth G. Kroh, 82, Kansas City, KS, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the Riverbend Post Acute Rehabilitation Center. Visitation will be from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 7, at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, KS with the graveside service to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Carter Healthcare and Hospice, 6378 College Blvd., Overland Park, KS 66221. Kenneth was born October 30, 1934, in Kansas City, KS and was a lifetime area resident. He had been a switchman for Southwestern Bell for 30 years, retiring in 1989. Ken had served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Kathleen Kroh and a brother, Robert Kroh. Ken is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth Ann Kroh and numerous nieces and nephews.
