Catherine will be missed in so many lives. She was a very strong willed, private, shielded individual. Once you get passed her shield she had a very loving, caring compassion for people. I'm glad I could be there for her when she needed me. As I sew the many pieces of a quilt that her illness would not allow her to do herself for sister it will bring great joy to my heart knowing I could help her finish this project. With Love and prayers to each of the you! Her buddy "Earl"

Sister Overland Park , Kansas

To my sister Cathy: I want to thank God for brining you into my life, for teaching me that the greatest gifts in life are the simplest: patience, love, friendship and humor. Thank you for being the best sister who had showed us all how to be so strong when it was so very hard to see the light. I want to thank you for all your love, patience, friendship and humor that we got to share over the years together. I thank you for all of your support and love when I needed it the most it really meant everything to me. Thank you for letting me give you the same love and support that you shared with me. I hope you know just how gifted you were when it came to listening with such a gentle heart. You were the kind of sister I could dream with, cry with, sing with, and most of all laugh with. I still wonder how you did all of these amazing things day in and day out with such grace. You were such an amazingly strong, loving and beautiful woman who I will always look up to. Its no wonder why we all loved having you as a sister and a friend. I love you so much and thank you again for letting me enjoy sharing life with you. I will never forget how incredible you were. Rest in Peace sister. I will see you again some day, but for now I will think of you in my dreams. With love from your little sister, Terri

Best Friend and Partner in life Olathe , Kansas

Cathy from the Irish poet John O'Donohue: though we need to weep your loss you dwell in that safe place in our hearts where no storm or night or pain can reach you. We look toward each other no longer from the old distance of our names now you dwell inside the rhythm of breath as close to us as we are to ourselves. Though we cannot see you with our outward eyes We know our souls gaze is upon your face, to which we bring our best refinement. Let us not look for you only in memory where we would grow lonely without you. You would want us to find you in the presence Beside us when beauty brightens When kindness glows and music echoes eternal tones. May you continue to inspire us to enter each day with a generous heart. o serve the call of courage and love until we see your beautiful face again in that land where there is no separation. where all tears will be wiped from our mind and where we will never lose you again. Thank you Cathy for our love and our time.
