Jun 10, 1931---Nov 23, 2022

Coralie Mae “Nana” Ginther passed away peacefully on the morning of November 23, 2022. She was born in Oakland, California, raised in Northern California, and graduated from Anoakia School For Girls (high school) and San Jose State College. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Ginther.

Coralie will forever be remembered by her beloved children Douglas, Susan and Donald, treasured grandchildren Olivia, Dorothy, Laura, Katherine, Holly, Dalton, Claire, Madison, and Haley, adored great-grandchildren Lukas, Maxwell, Thomas, Wade, Michael, Nils, Maci, Klara, Aurora, Charlotte, Bernadette, Aubrey, Lena, Felix, and Grayson, and in-laws Tami DuBois, Douglas Scanlon, and Natalie DuBois.

Coralie was an accomplished equestrian rider in her younger years and continued to ride until she was 70 years old. While raising her family, she started Golden Bee Stitchery. Years later, she went back to college and received her Associates Degree in Interior Design and started Coralie Ginther Designs.

In her later years, Bob and Coralie enjoyed their home in “Mouse Mountain,” traveling in their motorhome, and she continued her hobby of quilting. She was an award winning quilter who designed and handmade 21 quilts. In 2002, they moved to Lenexa, Kansas to continue their retirement.

Coralie was a proud descendent of Axel Ole Peter Warenskjold and the rest of the Norwegian family. She loved researching and learning about her ancestry in her later years. She continued her love of miniature schnauzers, custard treats, hamburgers, and Talbots shopping dates right up until the end. Nana’s quirkiness will be missed by all.

Coralie will be interned at the Resurrection Cemetery in Lenexa, Kansas in a private ceremony. The family suggests contributions to Monarch Hospice and Palliative Care, 7451 Switzer Rd Suite 100, Shawnee, KS 66203, and would like to thank Anita DuBois and the caregivers of Glenwood Village for their dedicated care of our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Long time friend and neighy ,Lawrence ,Kansas

Coralie was one of my buddies in what ever we were doing. Quilting, shopping eating and just hanging out. I met Coralie in 2006. She was our neighbor and she was walking her three legged dog Sophie. I was refinishing my grandmother’s bed in our garage. She came up and introduced herself and we hit is off immediately. We loved a lot of the same things and could sit and talk for hours. She was the best! She will be throughly missed. Rest in Peace Dear friend, you were loved.

Coralie was a dear friend and neighbor to me when we moved to Lenexa. We loved sewing, eating and shopping. Our last outing was a trip to the mall and eating. Will miss her dearly. Rest in Peace Coralie. ❤️
