Lyle D. Rose, 82, of Kansas City, KS passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021.  Visitation will be from 4-6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 4, at the Porter Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, May 5, at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, KS.  Burial in  National Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Lyle was born November 6, 1938, in Milo, MO.  He served in the United States Air Force from 1957-1961.  After serving his country, Lyle worked at the US Post Office until his retirement in 1992.    Lyle is survived by his wife, Ann Mary Rose, two sons; Michael and his wife Cathy Rose, Jeffrey and his wife Jody Rose, sister Audra Yahr, and two grandsons; Tyler and Quinton.

Uncle Lyle will hold such a special place in my heart. So kind, generous and loving to everyone around him. So many fond memories and laughs that bring a smile to my face. My condolences Auntie Ann, he was as fine a man as anyone could ask for. Love you.
