Feb 09, 1984---Apr 25, 2021

Rodney James Beagle, was born February 9, 1984 and he passed away April 25, 2021 at his home in Liberty, MO.

Rodney loved all things Kansas City, and was an avid fan of the Chiefs and Royals. Rodney was a dreamer and a doer. He had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed trips to the mountains in Colorado as often as he could. Rodney loved his two boys more than anything and cherished his time with them.  His greatest passion, aside from his two “Beagle Pups”, was bringing joy to the masses with his talent for brewing beer at 3 Halves Brewing Co. He was a pillar of his community and touched many lives with his exuberant personality and genuine excitement for connecting with people. He will be forever missed.

Rodney was a beloved son, proud father, and caring brother. He is survived by his two sons, Coldin and Kayden Beagle, along with his father Jim (Sharen) Beagle, mother Dolores Bywaters, and brothers Bradley (Christen) Beagle and Jeffrey (Ashley) Beagle.

A private memorial will be held for immediate family.

All are invited for a memorial gathering Sunday, MAy 2, 2021 at 3 Halves Brewing Co, 110 E Kansas St, Liberty, MO 64068, from 1-4pm. In lieu of flowers, all are encouraged to donate to a memorial fund for Rodney’s sons, Coldin and Kayden Beagle, on Venmo @BeaglePups.

I’m so very sad to hear this news. Those Beagle boys are very special to our family. Lots of fun times at SM West and in The Cedars. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow.

RBeags—You taught me more about life, love, passion, beer, and forgiveness than any belief system. Thanks for honoring me by asking me to bless your brewing equipment. Most of all, thanks for including and welcoming (!) me—the most important of life lessons! Fair skies and following seas, my friend. RIP....

I am going through a hard stage of my life. The last day I saw Rodney, he was super happy taking grounders at third base. It was always a strange thing, we always ended up buying the same vehicle. We always had something to discuss. We weren’t particularly close friends, but I played ball with him for years and I saw the kindness in him. I actually sought out 3Halves, not for the beer but because of him. The last day I saw him, less than two weeks ago, he was describing the location of the brewery (of course). That was when I told everyone “Later on boys, have a good night”. Several people responded. Even though I’d had a good weekend, I had not had a good night, neither in baseball terms, nor in personal terms. Rodney was the last to respond, but he told me: “Hey, you were on second base and weren’t the last out out of the game. You were the tying run”. I will NEVER forget that. Thank you, RayRod

Rodney, you were one of the best dudes I ever had the pleasure of knowing, my only regret is not getting to know you sooner. I have so much more I could say, but don't have the words right now. Love you brother, we'll miss you forever.

I’m so sorry to hear Rodney’s passing. My heart goes out to the family at this time. He was a real nice friend in Facebook. I found out about Rodney 10 year ago. I’m his other biological aunt that he never got to meet me in person.

When the tallest of trees fall, it is felt to the end of the Forrest.. Tragic fate has taken my great friend.. I am heartbroken for all those who waited for what Rodney’s genius was to reveal next.. Only to be dealt one of the coldest lessons of reality much of us have ever experienced.. Rodney’s greatest fault was there wasn’t enough of him to go around.. There are not enough lakes to hold our tears.. Forever missed Brother..

Great brewer - better person. Thank you Rodney for always making time for me, for caring about my thoughts, even when they're way off. All around the community, there's an awful lot of love going out to you and your family. If one's legacy is based on the people they affected positively in their life, then yours is golden. Cheers my friend, won't ever forget you.
