Eugenia S. Tarwater, 73, Kansas City, KS, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 4. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. with Funeral Services following at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave. Kansas City, KS. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, KS. Eugenia was born March 19, 1948, the daughter of Eugene and Myrtle Kelly. She worked for the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, KS, for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Louis. She is survived by her children, Michelle Tarwater, David (Nancy) Tarwater, Darrin (Bridget) Tarwater, 7 grandsons, 10 great grand- children, with 1 more on the way, and her brother, Eugene “Ted” Kelly.
