Nov 22, 1946---Mar 22, 2021

Much loved husband, father, brother, uncle LAWRENCE EDWARD CUYKENDALL was born 11/22/1946 in Toledo, Ohio to Frederick Charles Cuykendall and Eleanor (Malafa) Cuykendall. Larry passed on March 22, 2021 following intensive treatment for covid and a malignant brain tumor. A former resident of St. Petersburg, FL, Larry celebrated many successful years in sales and marketing, moving to Kansas City to accept a position in medical sales. Here he met Dixie Lee Bell and they enjoyed 29 years together.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Ann Cuykendall Carter, his nephew, John Hampton Digby, and sister-in-law, D. Lou Robins. He is survived by his sister, Julie Digby, Newnan, GA, niece, Carrie Huenke and family, Covington, GA, nephews, Lawrence Edward Digby, Monticello, GA and Charles Cuykendall Carter, Brooklyn, NY, daughter, Amy Cuykendall Jones, St. Petersburg, FL, step-daughter, Kathleen Masterson, Windsor Mill, MD, step granddaughter, Megan Gorman, Olney, MD, six cousins, and his wife, Dixie of the home. Also surviving are a host of caring friends, some dating back to age 2.

Larry was fun and funny with a somewhat warped sense of humor, always kind and caring and while missed by many, he will remain in our hearts forever.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no memorial service. Larry loved animals, especially his favorite “person” Missy Bell, his cat. If you wish, you may honor his memory with a donation to the Great Plains SPCA Animal Shelter, 5424 Antioch Drive, Mission, KS 66202
