Janet was born in Kansas City, Kansas to R. Dean and Maisie (Duncan) Billbe. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1970. She lived in Kansas City, Kansas and was a medical transcriptionist. She moved for health reasons to a nursing home in Topeka, Kansas in 2002 where she lived until her death. Janet was predeceased by her parents.  She is survived by her sisters, Cathy (Tom) Fisher and Jo Ellen Toner, step-mother Belle Billbe, step brother Ray Allen Brassfield and 5 nephews and one niece, and 8 great nieces and nephews.  

No services are planned.  Inurnment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army of Kansas City.
