My Great Aunt Margie was a kind soul. I’m comforted to know she is at peace now. I’m thinking of all her family and friends, especially Karl and the family at this time.

I will truly miss Margie and I amazing friendship we build together over the years at Antioch and in our small life group. She was so laid back yet witty when you least expect it. She was a compassionate and wonderful person, who will definitely be missed. A beautiful soul has departed for heaven. May God bless and comfort the loved ones she leaves behind.

I will miss my Aunt Margie. She was a quiet, kind, and good person. She put God first in her life, others next, and then self. I am grateful to have been a witness of her caring for others and caring for her only son, my cousin, Karl. Struggling as a single mom was not easy for her, however I admired her for simply doing her very best. She joyfully sang in choirs over the years, “...when one sings, she praises God twice!” St. Augustine. I will miss her sense of humor, that sparkle in her eyes, taking her on little trips, and talking about our thoughts on praying, religion, and the life eternal. Peace, love, and joy my dear Aunt Margie.

It is hard writing on this page. My heart hurts knowing that you will not be at our in home Sista Life Group tomorrow. I am however grateful for all the lessons you taught me over the years. You were with me at Advice and Aid as I brought Teen Mothers to get basic supplies, a smile, a hug and a prayer for strength. I will miss your smiles and candid conversations. I will miss you Margie as God reintroduced us at my home for The Sista Life Group. It was here that you became my sister. We were able to talk about marriage as you shared your story. You made me feel and walk in confidence as you told me NEVER allow my divorce to define me nor my new marriage. Harry and I will forever be grateful for your love. I couldn't attend your funeral but I will always be reminded of our fond memories. I will live out the legacy you taught me. Your Lil Sista Catherine
