Oct 07, 1954---Feb 02, 2021

Victoria J. Fatino, 66, Galmey, MO, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Lake Regional Hospital. Victoria was born on October 7, 1954 in Kansas City, MO to Donnie and Bernadine Fatino. She lived most of her life in the Kansas City area before moving to Galmey, MO to enjoy retirement and her love for quilting every day. Vicky worked for many years in the insurance industry for Travelers, Kemper, and AIG Insurance agencies. Vicky had a passion for quilting and spent many weekends at quilting retreats making friends with every person she met. Vicky’s other passion was her grandkids. She cherished her time with them.  She taught them how to sew and bake cookies and, of course, she spoiled them in every way possible.

Vicky was preceded in death by her father, Donnie, her mother, Bernadine, and her brother, Bobby. She is survived by her two children and their spouses, Melinda and Chad Hickey, Chris and Amanda Bledsoe, 3 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Andrew, and Scarlett, and five granddoggers and her princess Bella. She is also survived by her three brothers and their spouses, Carmen and Gail Fatino, John and Cindy Fatino, and Joe and Kim Fatino, one sister, Patty and Tim Sidwell and her many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Vicky will be at Porter Funeral Home, Lenexa, KS on Friday, February 12th from 5-7pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 13615 W. 92nd St, Lenexa, KS on Saturday, February 13th at 10:30am.  Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS.

I am SO sorry to hear of Vicky's passing. I met her through her neighbor, Marynell. I had fun with both of them watching Royal games, having lunch. I so admired her sense of humor, her tenacity - when she made up her mind to do sonething, she did it! Her talent and enthusiasm for quilt making was amazing. Her smile and quick wit will be missed. Love to all of you.
