Rodger will be missed. I met Rodger years ago as we were neighbors. We worshiped together for a brief period of time. Rodger loved his God and country. It's comforting to know he is resting in the arms of his Savior. My entire family are praying for God's Grace to cover Pat and family during this time of immense grief. I will see you again my friend.

Roger and Pat were good friends. I met Roger at a Quester reunion in the Black Hills of S D. Questers was an outreach of the First United Methodist Church in Rapid City. Quester members were single men and women that lived, went to the School of mines, Ellsworth A.F.B. that wanted to belong to a group of young adults for fun activities. Roger was a Quester in the early 1960's. He never lost his passion for the group and was very proud about keeping the group in touch for 65 years. Roger and Pat have visited us in the Black Hills several times and we have kept in touch over the past several years. Joan and I and all the Questers will miss Roger, his big smile and his excitement when we got together.

Our condolences to you Pat and all your family. Dick and I are sorry we have not been able to make it to the last few Quester reunions because Dick is in the nursing home. We remember Roger very fondly and all the fun we had with both of you at the reunions and all the beautiful wood cutouts he shared with us. The loving bond that you and Roger had was obvious for all to see. Our prayers continue for you Pat in your own health struggle.

I had the great good fortune to work alongside Roger at Kansas City Kansas Community College for several years. He was a wonderful colleague, always smiling and willing to lend a helping hand. I depended on his mature counsel on many occasions: Roger always had the correct answer whether it was a management issue or a technical matter. Everyone benefited from knowing Roger. I was very sad to hear of Roger's passing. I met Roger for the first time at Lenexa Baptist Church where we both were on the security team. I considered him a friend to the nth degree.
