 Ruth E. Payne, 87, Lenexa, KS, died January 11, 2021. Visitation 9 a.m. with Funeral Service
10 a.m. Friday, January 15 at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS.  Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
    Ruth was born November 9, 1933, in Kansas City, KS and was a lifetime area resident. She had been a registrar at Shawnee Mission North High School and was a member of Overland Park Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband George Payne, Jr. and a step-son George Payne, III.  Ruth is survived by a sister and her husband, Shirley and Glen Wilcox, a niece and her husband, Gwen and Craig Aronson, a nephew, Ronald Wilcox, a great nephew, Jared, a great niece, Rachel,  a great great nephew, Brady and a great great niece, Aubrey.
