Theresa A. (Terry) Carson

Shawnee, Kansas

Terry passed away in her home surrounded by family on January 10, 2021.  She was born in Manhattan, NY to James M. and Loretta Martin.  She graduated high school from Nerinx Hall, St. Louis, MO and attended St. John’s (now Mercy) Hospital School of Nursing, Springfield, MO, graduating June 1965.  On November 26, 1966, she married John F. Carson in Massapequa, NY.  She practiced as a Registered Nurse for thirty four years.  She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Shawnee.

Survivors include two brothers, Robert and Charles Martin, her husband of 54 years, John (Jack), daughter Shannon M. Wehr (Todd), son Thomas M. Carson (Caryn), daughter Sarah F. Linderman (Aaron), daughter Mary E. Bohon (Chris) and 14 grandchildren.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be a private, graveside service.
