Rhoda and I became fast friends when we first met almost 20 years ago. She was a great conversationalist and a great encourager. The world will be a less friendly place without her. Our loss is Heaven's gain. Peace to all who knew and loved her.

Psalm 127:3 “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him.” When reading your mom’s obituary, the above verse came to mind. Your mom must have a special place in heaven, for she was always sharing Christ with others and all the grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren are a testament as to how much your mom was loved and was rewarded. We get so caught up in day to day living, that we sometimes miss all the blessings God has for us. May God surround you with His love and peace. Randy & Rita, God blessed you with a special mother! Much love to you both.

Honda's door was always open to us....literally. She was a major influence to me and many others in our early Christian lives. She and Ray loved their own kids and all the rest of us, too. I know she's in Heaven and I know we'll have a sweet reunion someday. Praying the God of all comfort supplies all you need!

So sorry for your loss Randy and Reida and grandkids. Such wonderful memories I'll always carry. She's been on my heart and had no idea she had passed. Our moms were friends at 13 & I always enjoyed hearing their stories. I know they were glad to see each other in Heaven!!

What a wonderful lady! She was there to make everyone happy, and she did. So much fun to have around. Her faith rubbed off on everyone, that’s why I’m sure that she was chosen for the perfect Godmother to me. Lots of fond memories of my childhood being around the family for holiday get togethers. Love 💕 Barbara.

Rhoda was hands-down one of the sweetest, friendliest, and most beautiful souls I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Her company made 12 hour shifts fly by, and her amazing stories would make you wish there were several more hours available. I remember staying after shift more than once to hear the end of the story, and am I so sorry we never got to write the book about her life we always talked about! She was a fascinating lady, with a smile and hug for anyone who needed it, and always a wonderful story. The events that shaped her could have had so many less-positive outcomes, but she became a diamond from those forces. I had left the site where I used to see her, but found her phone number today and went online to make sure it was current. The regret I have at not seeing her again before she left us is profound. She will continue to be greatly missed, and a glowing inspiration to always choose the better view of life. My prayers are with her lovely family.
