Rhoda Emily Fleischer age 92 of Kansas City, Kansas went to her heavenly home on January 4, 2021.
Rhoda was born on May 14, 1928 in Basehor, KS. She was born to John and Merle (Grable) Imes as well as her brother Gilbert.
Rhoda grew up in Basehor and graduated from Basehor High School. She then began working at Hallmark and then began her career at Southwestern Bell. Rhoda then married Raymond Fleischer on April 9, 1950 together they made their home in Kansas City, KS. They adopted 2 children and had many foster children as well as always having an open door for anyone who needed it.
Rhoda has always been an active member of a church. She found peace and joy in her faith. She also enjoyed shopping, garage sales, beanie baby “hunts”, selling christian books, and just being a social butterfly, always making a friend. She earned her nickname “Honda” because she was always on the go!

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother and husband of 62 years.
She is survived by her son Randy, daughter Rita, grandchildren Krissy, Shelly, Jeremiah & Edith, BreAnna, Caleb & Glory, Christa & Jason, Mitchell, great grandchildren Austin, Samantha & Dalton, Andrew, Ravin, Clarissa, Devan, Annalee, Liam, Michael, Madalyn, Bryce, Brooke, Chase, Mercey, Gabriel, Malloree, great great grandchild Alaeia.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6pm, Monday January 11, 2021 at Porter Funeral Home 1835 Minnesota Ave, Kansas City, KS. A funeral service will begin at 10am on Tuesday at the funeral home. Followed by the burial at Leavenworth National Cemetery at 12:30pm.
